Alexandre Baldy told Reuters that BYD is seeking permits to double annual capacity at its Camaçari, Brazil plant to 600,000 vehicles. He gave no date for that step, and he described a nearer output target of 25,000 vehicles a month by the end of 2026.
Volvo Cars reported third-quarter revenue of SEK 66.9 billion and an adjusted operating loss of SEK 3.7 billion. Fully electric cars were 32 percent of retail sales, and the company plans a lower-priced electric car on SPA3 with deliveries after summer 2027.
Tesla's 10-Q reports $28.05 billion of third-quarter revenue, a $49 million dip from a year earlier. Deliveries fell, energy-storage revenue fell, and the company says battery supply still limits how fast auto output can grow.
