EV fans on X have been passing around prices for a 2027 Ford Mustang Mach-E Trail. The figures below are from Electrek, Car and Driver, and Autoweek on 22 October 2026, not from those posts. A matching Ford media-site page did not turn up for this story, so each number is attributed to the outlet that printed it.

Electrek says the Select rear-wheel-drive model starts at $39,995 before a $2,045 destination fee, or $42,040 with that fee. Car and Driver and Autoweek both put the starting price at $42,040. Electrek lists the all-wheel-drive Trail at $45,290 before destination and calls it a $2,295 package on the Select eAWD. Adding that $2,045 fee to $45,290 equals $47,335, the Trail price Car and Driver prints. Autoweek also calls the Trail a $2,295 package.

Electrek says an 88 kWh extended-range battery is now standard, including on Select and Premium. Car and Driver says Select, Premium, and Trail use an 88.0 kWh battery. Autoweek says the extended-range pack is standard, with 88 kWh of usable capacity on Select and Premium and 91 kWh on the GT and Rally. Electrek also lists 91 kWh for the GT and Rally. Only Autoweek uses the word "usable."

Electrek and Autoweek say 400-watt Pro Power Onboard is standard on the Trail. Electrek adds that it is a 120-volt system and an upgrade on Premium, GT, and Rally. Car and Driver says the feature is standard on the Trail and does not state a wattage. Electrek, citing Ford, says the package is meant to make "outdoor adventures across pavement, gravel, and dirt roads more accessible than ever." Electrek and Autoweek expect deliveries in the first quarter of 2027. Car and Driver says early 2027, with orders open.
