Corrections
EV News Desk is owned and operated by Joshua Israel Ventures LLC, a Florida limited liability company. A factual error in a published article should be corrected on the article, not quietly deleted. This page is our corrections policy. It is not legal advice.
What we correct
We correct a fact that is wrong: a name, number, date, quote, or description of a document that does not match the source. We also correct a headline or summary that says something the article’s sources do not support.
We do not change an article to match a preference, a missing compliment, or a disagreement about emphasis when the cited fact is accurate. Opinion, analysis, and speculation stay labeled. A labeled opinion is not a factual error by itself.
How to ask
Write to the desk. Include the article URL, the passage, and a public source a reader can open. Say who you are if you want a reply. We do not publish a street address.
What a correction looks like
The article keeps a note of what was wrong and what it says now. The visible Last updated date changes, and the page’s structured data dateModified uses that same updatedAt value. The original publication date stays in place.
If the whole article is unsound, we say so on the page instead of pretending it was never published. When a passage is in doubt and we cannot check it, we take it out.
The standards behind that choice are on Sources & Ethics.
