BMW Group, IONNA, and Alpitronic said on 20 October that they showed high-power charging for a BMW iX5 60 xDrive in Southern California, at up to 460 kW. The U.S. and global releases do not match on pack size or miles added in 10 minutes, and BMW says the hardware is not for sale in the U.S.
