Volkswagen pauses development work on the electric ID. Golf to save money
Volkswagen has paused development work on the electric ID. Golf because its Wolfsburg home plant is about €300 million short of a cost target. Brand chief Thomas Schäfer says the project is paused, not cancelled, and VW now expects the car in the early 2030s.
