Electric aircraft from Joby and BETA fly St. Petersburg to Tampa under a federal pilot programme
BETA Technologies and Joby Aviation flew electric aircraft from St. Petersburg's Albert Whitted Airport to Tampa International, as the state's transportation department became the seventh site to start flying under the U.S. eVTOL Integration Pilot Program. Neither company has started passenger service, and no fares or booking dates have been announced.
